“Z” is a collaborative zine that was made by participants from the Conference on Community Writing, in October 2019. Collaborators — including teachers, writers, artists, and students — worked together to make “Z” (below) in a 3-hour workshop led by artist and professor, Carolyn Chernoff from The Soapbox, a community print shop in West Philadelphia. The group used the zine to reflect on their conference experience, passions, and interests in community writing.
The workshop was supported and sponsored by Rowan University’s College of Communication and Creative Arts and the Writing Arts Department.
